I have played countless of rounds of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have enjoyed online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of bankroll at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it almost impossible to defeat the game.

I still like the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won't get flush with this tactic or beat the casino, nonetheless you will have an abundance of fun. This method is founded on the idea that chemin de fer appears to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you're not you're NOT!

I wager with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don't win I lower the bet back down to the original amount.

I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets very thrilling at times. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a couple of years ago with $750 after 20 mins using this technique! And a couple of months ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can squander a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the runs you witness playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.

Wager five dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original five dollar wager

Wager five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $10

Wager 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $10 wager

Wager $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar

Wager $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the first twenty dollar wager

Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 40 dollar bet

Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80

Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet

Bet 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $160

Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the first one hundred and sixty dollar bet

If you left at this moment you would be up $315 !!

It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can't deviate and drop your wager or the end result won't be the same.
