I have played millions of hands of chemin de fer. I began working my way into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have gambled on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of bankroll at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the game.

I still enjoy the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won't get flush with this tactic or defeat the house, still you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that 21 appears to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you're not you are NOT!

I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the next hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original bet.

I am very strict and do not back out. It gets extremely fun on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a number of years back with $750 after 35 minutes using this tactic! And a number of months ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!

You must understand that you can give away a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you witness wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.

Bet five dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the initial five dollar bet

Wager five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar

Wager ten dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar wager

Bet $10
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar

Bet 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the first twenty dollar bet

Bet $20
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar

Wager 40 dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the first $40 bet

Bet 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar

Bet $80
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the first $80 bet

Bet $80
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar

Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the initial 160 dollar wager

If you left at this instance you would be up 3 hundred and 15 dollars !!

It's difficult to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your wager or the end result won't be the same.
